Today's generation don't know the reason of taking bath because they know only that taking bath helps to clean the body but bathing is mainly needed for maintaining or reducing body heat.
Let's see one example, some of the man made electronic devices like hospital equipment,research devices and computers need a balanced heat for better performance so that air conditioning devices are fixed to maintain those heat.
Likewise in general our human body attain heat due to the performance of internal organs then later that heat will reduce naturally but the changes on our habituation restrict those process.
Also, the consumption of oily and non veg foods create alternative heat on body as well as make your organs to spend much energy for digestion so that your body heat may increase then causes several disorders to your body.Therefore taking bath daily helps to reduce or maintain body heat effectively.
